LOCATION
The apartment is located in one of the most central and quiet neighborhoods of Shkoder, Parruca district. It is just a nice 5 minutes walk from the main pedestrian street. There are many shops and bars in the area. As well there is a supermarket just downstairs. Basically, in the center but feels very local.
You will also be 10 minutes from Buna River, the lake, and the castle. The area is perfect for starting exploring local life, and the historical center, but also for cycling the nearby lake promenade.
PARKING: You can park next to Parruca mosque with free (private parking) or you can use public parking for free on the main boulevard.
MOVING AROUND
To move around conveniently, walking or biking is recommended. However, there is a public bus service that operates within the city of Shkodër. Additionally, if needed, the host can arrange a private chauffeur-driven vehicle at any time.
Tirana Airport (TIA) and Podgorica Airport (TGD) are both approximately 90 minutes away by car. The only distinction is that traveling to/from Podgorica would require passing one additional border crossing. The host can easily arrange airport transfers at a very reasonable price upon request.
