This unique pet friendly oceanfront retreat has the main residence and two fully self contained private guest apartments. Guests and their pets have full access to the outside areas. Everyone loves the peace and tranquility of The Cove so please do not ask visitors over before asking permission as everyone enjoys their privacy. The one bedroom apartment is upstairs. The main bedroom on the oceanfront has stunning views with an ensuite and spa. The apartment is spacious with a separate lounge room and fully equiped kitchen. Entry is via the lounge room which has 2 balconies. It contains a large double day bed and lounge. The lounge room can be closed off and has the main bathroom/ laundry beside it making the apartment suitable for a couple, a small family or two single people.
All of the outdoor areas are shared with stunning views overlooking the ocean. There is a large pool, an entertainment area with bbq, and a relaxing gazebo for chilling out. The deck on the lower area overlooking the rockpools is perfect for breakfast or afternoon drinks. The yard is fully fenced making it perfect for pets. We just ask that pets are not left unattended. The rock pools are our backyard. Dolphins and whales can sometimes be spotted passing by. Mon Repo Turtle Rookery is a 15 minute drive away. The nightly tours are a great experience, make sure you book in advance. There is a cafe/bakery and delightful tidal swimming lagoon is a few minutes walk away. The lagoon has bbq facilities and amenities making it great for group gatherings. There is a scenic walking track to Barolin Rocks with snorkelling and diving. The convenience store is nearby. Enjoy a round of golf with 2 courses in the area. A trip to the Bundy Rum Distillery is always interesting or book a boat trip to Lady Musgrave Island or a plane flight to beautiful Lady Elliot. They both have wonderful snorkelling. There is a convenience shop nearby. Elliot Heads Beach is beautiful and is a 10 minute drive. Visit Bargara with it's cute shops and restaurants. There is a courtesy bus to Sandhills Sports Club Wednesday through to Saturday nights and Elliot Heads Bowls Club, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Bargara Lakes Tavern Saturday and Sunday.
