New photos coming soon + many updates! Beautiful 2 BED 2 BATH home with attached 2 car garage. Set on a private 5 acre estate. Dogs and horses welcome! Room to park your RV or horse trailer! Large shaded pens for horses + 2 indoor stalls. Just minutes from I-35 for easy traveling to Stillwater, OKC and Edmond. 10 minutes or less from the Lazy E Arena, Silverleaf Shotgun Sports, HISTORIC downtown Guthrie, drive-in theater, dining and much more! Saltwater pool will be open May-Sept weather permitting.
The space:
This home is located on a fully fenced in 5 acre estate. The homeowners, Mike and Melinda, live next door with their dogs and may be present around the premises during your stay. Pool may be shared with guests at the Suite at Sunny Acres - the other vacation rental on the property.
Private backyard and patio with picnic table, chairs, and gas BBQ grill. Spacious and shaded fenced areas for dogs and horses. Extra large indoor storm shelter available (plenty of room for dogs, too!)
Guest access:
Guests will have access to the entire house and patio area. Check-in instructions and code provided 3 days before arrival. The pool space is limited to registered, overnight guests only. The pool may be shared with guests at the adjoining vacation rental on the property (The Suite at Sunny Acres). Sorry for any inconvenience.
Other details to note:
1. The homeowners, Mike and Melinda, live next door with their dogs and may be present on the premises during your stay.
2. We now offer kayak rentals!
- 2 adult/3 children kayaks available (first come first serve as there are 2 vacation rentals on this property).
- $30/person or $80/family of 4+
- 2-hour minimum on the lake.
- Homeowner will transport kayaks to and from Lake Guthrie.
- Liability waiver MUST be signed and life vests (provided) MUST be worn.
- Minors (18 or younger) MUST be accompanied by an adult.
3. This home is on a well and septic. The homeowners kindly ask that you are water conscious and please be sure not to flush items other than toilet paper.
4. DOG FEE $40/night per dog, max 2 dogs
Dogs must be crated when guest is not present. We have several size crates we can provide if needed. No bathing dogs at the home and no dogs in the pool. If your dog sheds excessively, kindly use the broom/dustpan or electric stick vacuum provided for quick clean up.
5. HORSE FEE $40/night per horse
Space can accommodate up to 10 horses outside.
Keep your horses comfortable and close for convenient travel to and from Lazy E events. Two bags of pine shavings are included (inside stalls only). NEW large pens shaded with Oak trees, perfect for roaming. Large gravel area for parking and turning large trucks and horse trailers.
**We ask that you please keep indoor stalls clean upon exiting. Wheelbarrow and dumpsters available for use right outside the barn. IF you use an inside stall and it is not cleaned prior to checkout, there will be a $35 charge as we have many back to back bookings. This is something our cleaning crew cannot accomplish in a short amount of time.
6. RV HOOKUP: 30 amp RV hookup available $40/night. Guests in RV + Cottage cannot surpass our maximum of six guests.
