Private wooded setting on 11+ acres, mountain views, spacious living room with wood stove, sun room. Beautiful mixture of antique & contemporary furnishings. Writing desks in every room for the contemplative visitor. Satellite TV, VCR, DVD player, stereo with cassette and CD players. We now have WIRELESS internet as well! Jenn-Air stove and oven, microwave, and fully furnished kitchen. We even supply the cottage with good sharp knives for the gourmet cook! Grill, picnic table, hammocks on the property. The area: Cavendish is a quiet town, located 7 miles from Ludlow and the Okemo Ski Resort. The Cottage at Stone Walls is situated on 11+ acres outside of the village. There are many historic, tourist, and outdoor attractions in the area, but if you want peace and quiet, you have only to stay around the property and you will not be disturbed. Writing tables in every room, beautiful sunny views to inspire you. Plenty of room for your children to play and run around outside, tire swings, hammocks, etc. Three bedrooms on the second floor: one with antique double bed, one with queen sleigh bed, and one middle bedroom with a bunk bed, double on the bottom, and twin on the top. In addition, on the main floor, in the sunroom, is a queen sofa sleeper. References: I would be happy to put you in contact with previous guests of the Cottage, many of whom return year after year.
