The space
This 200-year-old carriage house is Chester’s hidden gem. Completely renovated by a renowned East Coast architect, this property is the perfect place to relax and get away. It is located in the heart of the Chester village, within walking distance from restaurants, Nova Scotia`s oldest pub The Focsle tavern, Chester Yacht Club, the Golf Course and much more.
This two and half story carriage house is very spacious and bright, with a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. On the main floor entrance, there is a sitting area and library, plus a guest bathroom with a claw foot soaker tub.
On the second floor, you will find an open concept living area, master bedroom with a four-poster queen size bed, and kitchen. The home is furnished with turn of the century furniture. The kitchen has a breakfast bar, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The upstairs bathroom is complete with natural stone and a walk in shower.
Additional sleeping quarters are located in the loft, with two twin beds (not suitable for smaller children).
