The Calm is comfort, relaxation and beachy bundled into the perfect holiday (or work) stay.
The Calm features a queen bedroom, bathroom with internal laundry, and open plan kitchen, dining, living and balcony. It has been furnished and styled to complement the beachside location and has all the comforts and necessities of home.
Included in your stay is a carpark in the basement garage, wifi, quality bed linen and bath towels, and all the basics you will need. A porta-cot and highchair, and beach towels are available for hire upon request. Elevator access to the apartment and basement. The garage car park height limit is 2.2m.
The Calm is conveniently located in Newcastle East, directly across from the beach and close to lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. It is just a 200m walk onto Newcastle Beach, and 650m to Newcastle Ocean Baths. It is 1.2km to Nobby’s Beach, 800m to King Edward Park & the Bogey Hole, and 1.2km to Newcastle Memorial Walk. Our guest manual (received after booking) includes our recommendations for where to eat & drink close by to the property.
The Calm is a 30-minute drive from Newcastle Airport, 400m from Newcastle Beach Light Rail stop. The Queens Wharf Ferry stop is just a 750m walk from the apartment.

Summary: We loved this apartment, it was so clean, comfortable, spacious, it had everything we needed and was very secure. The view couldn't be beat (even though there is currently scaffolding blocking some of it, we were not disappointed). Listening to the waves was music to my ears. It is also a great location with several great places to eat nearby (highly recommend the Falcon), easy access and relaxed. Everything was easy, the communication was perfect, the arrangements clear and concise, the check in was personally done and very friendly. We will stay here again when we are coming to Newcastle, and recommend to everyone.
