Sitting right on the water, The Boathouse looks over Kinsale, the Marina, Charles Fort and James Fort. In one of the most desirable areas of town, you can sit in bed and watch boats sail by! The Boathouse is a unique, completely detached waterfront accommodation with it’s own private entrance and outside patio seating area and stunning views over Kinsale and the Harbour. The newly refurbished interior is light and clean with wooden floors, deep rattan armchairs, cushions and linen blankets... the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The Boathouse overlooks the sea from every angle and the bed is no exception! A king size bed with a great quality mattress, crisp white cotton bedding and classic linen blankets all ensure a great nights sleep. The wall of windows overlooking the sea are double glazed and the building is extremely well insulated, keeping you cosy and snug, even in the stormiest weather. The Boathouse shower room houses a double size shower, high quality toiletries, fluffy towels and fresh linen dressing gowns. The double front doors open straight to the water, with chairs on the terrace overlooking the sea. The perfect spot for a sundowner on those sunny evenings and lovely basket of blankets to wrap up in during the winter! The Boathouse has a small and perfectly formed kitchenette with breakfast facilities... however it’s not set up or designed for cooking meals...think more ‘glamping kitchen’ than fitted kitchen! A Krups coffee maker, Dualit kettle and toaster, mini fridge, French press, Dartington glassware, cookware, stylish crockery and cutlery. The cupboards are stocked with teas, coffee, sugar, biscuits and milk for your arrival. A smoke alarm is fitted for your peace of mind. Alexa is in The Boathouse along with its own dedicated Spotify premium account for an unlimited range of music and radio.
