WELCOME TO THE BLUE ROOST ON THE POINT. A one of a kind lake house on Lake Hamilton! This is a fun home, a real lake house. This is not a 5 star hotel experience, but a real lake house with a tower! The Blue Roost doesn't have granite countertops, it was built in the 90's, and we have kept the original integrity of the home, brass fixtures and all. The wooded 1.5 acre point across the cove is ours too, drive or swim to it, picnic or camp on it if you like. It is 300' of undeveloped land on the lake. We do our upmost to keep the house clean and tidy. The couches are comfy, but not brand new so it's OK if you walk in wet off the lake and want sit down. The entire house has wood floors so no worries about getting the carpet wet either. If the kids get water on the floors, do not yell at them, just put a towel down. And, if you water ski and want to do a slalom dock start, that's alright. This house is for younger active people who want to refresh, relax and get together in a clean and tidy place. If you don't want to swim and can't climb stairs, then this is probably not the house for you. To sum it up, if your looking for a laid back feel, a great swimming, outstanding views, a little bit out of town and right on Lake Hamilton, then this is the house for you! Overlooking the main channel, The Blue Roost has a good clean supply of deep water perfect for swimming in the summer months! Park your boat in our covered boat slip which is included in the rental. If you need it, there is also a boat ramp in our neighborhood you can use to launch your boat. Walking down from the garage, you will see the tower, at the front of the house, that was originally an exotic bird aviary. That's where we get the name "The Blue Roost". No other house on Lake Hamilton has a tower! The tower has been transformed from an aviary into a living and sleeping space with a TV room (with full size sleeper sofa) on the main level and 2 loft style bedrooms on the second and third floors. This set up is great for older kids or young adults, however the tower is NOT ideal for smaller toddler age children or older guest who may find the narrow stairwell challenging. This house sleeps 10 guests and has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Main Level: -1st Master Bedroom: queen size bed, on suite bathroom with a shower tub combo. French door to the back deck. -2nd Master Bedroom: queen size bed, on suite bathroom with a stand up shower. French door to the back deck. -Guest bathroom with shower tub combo. -Living Room / Sun Room: 2 queen size pull out sofas -Kitchen -Laundry Room Tower: Main level: T.V. Room with full size pull out sofa 2nd floor: Bunk beds with pull out trundle 3rd floor: 2 twin beds Note: All bathrooms are on the main level. If you like the outdoors, there is plently of space with seating on the front decks and back decks of the house. We also have a charcoal BBQ gril for your grilling pleasure. There's plenty of parking for 3 or more vehicles in our driveway, but please no street parking. Come on over and make the Blue Roost your next vacation destination!
