Our classic style cottage, beautiful tranquil garden and fresh mountain air might be just what you need. Our home is spacious and welcoming for couples, friends or families wanting a mid-week visit, a weekend away or an extended break. About The Blue House…. The Blue House is a classic mid-century mountain cottage ideally located mid way between Leura's pretty tree lined main street (Leura Mall) and some of the best cliff top walking trails and lookouts that the Blue Mountains have to offer. In fact, it’s an easy 10 minute walk to The Mall! The house is comfortable for 8 guests with ample seating for cosy evenings around the wood burning fire in winter, animated dinners around the large dining table or BBQs on the sunny rear deck overlooking the garden in the warmer months. The rear garden at The Blue House is filled with unique cool climate specimen trees and flowering plants and provides a gentle resting place between outings to shops, café’s or hikes on our world famous trails. Feed the Crimson Rosellas or King Parrots from the deck while taking in the tranquil greenery that surrounds the cottage. You can rest easy while your children play in the gated back garden, free to wander, pick flowers or play hide and seek. Do a little old fashioned gardening by putting your vegie scraps in the worm farm. Your kids will shriek with delight…or disgust! Thank you so much for our stay in The Blue House. It’s even cosier and lovelier than last time. The garden is looking spectacular and the same can be said for the visiting bird life!
