Our family friendly vintage cottage features an open kitchen/dining/living floor plan. Just inside the front door is our roomy kitchen (perfect for feeding kids!) including a table seating 5, a breakfast bar for 4 and lots of storage. There is also a dining table for more seating, puzzles, or your laptop. The living area includes a TV and DVD player,and access to a small deck great for shady mornings or sunny afternoons. 2 bedrooms have Queen size beds, the other 2 each have a double and twin bed. One has another TV for the kids. Downstairs find 2 outdoor showers, charcoal grill, picnic table, and a few rocking chairs.The front porch is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee.
Our affordable pricing includes the end of rental housekeeping fee; you may also opt to bring your pet (Pet Fee), bed sheets provided (Linens Fee), or have bath towels provided (Bath towel Fee).

Once you cross over the bridge to our small barrier island, leave your work and daily routine behind. Enjoy our wide beach, with it’s south facing gradual slope and gentle waves, bike around the island, or walk west to the Kindred Spirit on the Bird Island Preserve and leave your thoughts in the notebooks found in the mailbox. Check out the island shops, pier and turtle nest talks.
Close to home base, you can enjoy weekly summer concerts in front of the Ingram Planetarium, and visit the shops and restaurants on High Market. On Thursday morning you can visit the Sunset Beach Waterfront Market at the Sunset Beach Park (next to Bill’s Seafood) supporting local producers of homemade and homegrown products. Returning visitors to Sunset will enjoy the Old Bridge Preservation Society,new home of the old pontoon swing bridge since 2010, located almost under the new bridge, near the new public boat ramp.
Off island,Sunset Beach is surrounded by golf courses,as well as fishing and kayaking tours for the entire family.
