Our well-treed private lots is the perfect getaway for your family (a maximum of 8 people). The Bear's Den has over 200 feet of water frontage on a quiet lake, only 15 minutes from Parry Sound. The Bear's Den has all the amenities of home including large windows overlooking the lake, warm hardwood flooring throughout, high efficiency wood stove and great cathedral ceilings. The main floor features a fully equipped kitchen which includes lots of counter space, fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, coffee makers, tons of dishes, cutlery and much more. There is also a large rustic harvest table in the dining room and plenty of seating in the living room for the entire clan. linens and towels are also available. Weekly rentals ONLY in summer months. House Rules We are looking for family oriented renters who will respect the rules of our cottage and our neighbours around us. We do not allow fireworks at our cottage at any time and we ask our renters to respect the noise by-laws of the municipality i.e. no loud noises outside after 11:00p.m. Any outside fires must be conducted in accordance with a fire restrictions in place at that time as set out by the municipality. We reserve the right to refuse to rent at our discretion. You are only 30 feet away from over 200 feet of water frontage for those who like swimming, splashing, kayaking or paddle-boating. A private beach and play structure for the young ones. Swimming is perfect for all ages as the waterfront has a gradual sloping solid rock ledge, nice and shallow for the young ones and gradually gets deeper for the more experienced. You can also soak in the sun off the dock. Outside the Cottage: Deck and patio furniture, Propane BBQ; play structure youth Kayaks, Paddle Boat, some life jackets; 2 picnic table for dining down by the beach Fire Pit There are a few marinas on the lake for boat rentals. Nearby Parry Sound offers lots of shopping, Bobby Orr hall of Fame, Fesitval of the Sound, movie theatre, Thirty Thousand Island Boat Cruise and more.
