The Space:

Situated in the Caves Ridge Estate, which borders the wonderful gardens of the historical Caves House Hotel, this property is a 10 minute easy walk through to the seaside town of Yallingup and magnificent Yallingup beach. The Beach Box is the perfect base to explore the beauties of the Margaret River region, but most of all a place to relax, unwind and spoil yourself.
Nestled among the peppermint trees, this stylish, spacious elevated house is built over three split levels with a central entrance. The holiday house can comfortably accommodate 3 couples, or a family group in its 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
Two adult retreat bedrooms branch off either side of the entrance area. Both bedrooms have queen beds with crisp white bed linen and private balconies. Each adult bedroom has an en suite bathroom with free standing bath, shower, vanity and toilet.
The third bedroom and bathroom are located on the lower floor. This bedroom is equipped with 1 queen bed and 2 bunk beds, making it suitable for varying needs. This bedroom adjoins a comfortable TV viewing room, with widescreen smart television, DVD/CD and bar fridge creating an ideal children's room or teenage retreat within easy reach of the main living area.
The designer kitchen and beautifully furnished open living and dining spaces will delight friends who love to share a fine meal. This main living area is upstairs, and opens onto the large entertaining deck, creating a private and secure outdoor living space. Large glass sliding doors open from the kitchen to the barbecue on the balcony - the perfect place for summer entertaining.
Comfortable leather lounges, widescreen smart television, DVD/CD invite guests to switch off, wind down, and snuggle up by the wood fire on cosy winter evenings.
Complimenting the already generous features of this house is the external shower, ideal after the beach, conveniently located close to the laundry (washing machine/dryer) entry.

The Neighborhood:
Yallingup is an absolute mecca for visitors wishing to enjoy the true South West coastal lifestyle; if the water calls your name, look no further than this small but vibrant settlement on the Western side of Cape Naturaliste. A serious surfing hotspot, Yallingup is abuzz every morning with people eagerly pulling on their wetsuits, grabbing their boards and paddling out. Despite its size, the township is home to a number of awesome local businesses, including a pub (Caves House Hotel), general store & cafe, bottle shop, German bakery (Yallingup Gugelhupf), high end seafood restaurant/casual brekkie spot (Lagoon) and of course a shop for all of your surfing and seafaring needs! If you need more shops and amenities, Dunsborough is just a 10 minute drive away, and there are heaps more restaurants, cafes, wineries and breweries just on your doorstep. If you are in search of some different activities, you can walk a section of the Cape to Cape, visit Ngilgi Cave (just 5 minutes away), or Yallingup Maze.
It's not just about summer here, despite its popularity thanks to the glorious weather; all year round, even when we may be less blessed with warm days and sunny skies, visitors can enjoy hikes, biking, surfing, off-roading, horse riding, cave tours, water sports, fishing, wine and beer tasting, and generally eating and drinking one's way around the area! Visit in spring to catch the whale migration and wild flower season, or in autumn to enjoy quieter beaches and excellent surf.

The Margaret River Wine Region is one of the most prestigious winemaking areas in the world. Considered a “boutique” region, production is relatively small and quality-focused. The unique microclimates and fabulous soils here mean that producers are able to make some of the world’s best Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, along with a host of other single varietal and blend wines; most wineries will have a good selection of options, including various sparkling wines, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz if the flagship varieties aren’t your cup of tea. Many of these wineries are also home to phenomenal restaurants, and your dining options will range from full tasting menus to casual pizzas or grazing boards. If you have any particular restaurant on your wish list, we strongly recommend booking ahead all year round. In peak summer season (December-February), bookings are essential and may need to be made several weeks or months in advance. Please contact us directly if you would like tailored recommendations for your self-guided winery and/or brewery tour. If you have time, we highly recommend buying a ticket onto one of the many locally operated winery and brewery tour buses, for an unforgettable day out of excellent food and drink.
Getting Around:
Guests staying at The Beach Box can walk from the house to the local pub (Caves House Hotel), general store and German bakery; these are a 2 minute walk away. There is also a scenic footpath into Yallingup itself.
A car is required to get around the area otherwise.

All linen is provided (excl. beach towels). All of our accommodation is fully self-catered, and as a courtesy we provide a basic starter pack for each stay, including: soap, toilet rolls, tea, coffee & sugar, basic cleaning products, and some cooking essentials (oil, salt & pepper). We provide these items to help kick-start your holiday in a stress-free way, but guests are responsible for the ongoing supply of anything they should require beyond the starter pack provided.
During winter months, we provide some complimentary wood, kindling, matches and fire lighters for houses with indoor fire places. Guests requiring more wood for their stay - or wishing to use the fire outside of winter months - will need to purchase their own, available at local service stations and hardware stores.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the existence of an invasive beetle (Polyphagous Shothole Borer (PSHB)) in the Perth Metropolitan Area, movement of PSHB host material such as firewood, tree pruning's, mulch (less than 2.5cm diameter), unseasoned wood, and plants (less than 2.0cm diameter) from within this area to areas outside is prohibited.
