Minutes from downtown Hendersonville, about 20 minutes from Asheville, and close to all of the beautiful hiking parks that the area has to offer, not to mention unique shopping adventures, everything is easily accessed by car, and is ready for your visit!

There is no neighborhood! This is a great place to escape for some peace and quiet!
You'll have the whole barn to yourself, plus access to the creek (that has a firepit next to it).
We've also been working on recent upgrades, such as a brand new king-sized bed, your stay will be more comfortable, and enjoyable!

Summary: The Barn at Slick Rock has become my go-to haven for peace and relaxation. I've stayed here many times, and each visit is more precious and beautiful than the last. The serene atmosphere, combined with the thoughtful touches and well-stocked accommodations, makes every stay unforgettable. The hosts are incredibly attentive and always go the extra mile to ensure my time here is perfect. Despite the recent devastation that Western North Carolina faced, nearly everything in the area is open and thriving. The resilience and warmth of the people here are truly inspiring, and there’s absolutely no reason to stay away. This region continues to be as breathtaking as ever. For anyone who loves walking or wants to enjoy time outdoors with their dog, the nearby Oklawaha Greenway in Hendersonville is a must. This stunning three-mile paved trail follows the river, offering a peaceful escape and a perfect addition to your visit. I can’t recommend The Barn at Slick Rock enough—each stay leaves me feeling refreshed, grateful, and eager to return. Thank you to the incredible hosts for creating such a special place!
