Goughs Bay on the beautiful shores of Lake Eildon, only a 15 min drive to Mansfield township, gateway to the high country. With activities such as snow skiing, water skiing, horse trail rides, maze, zoo, mountain biking, motor cross, 4x4 tracks, bushwalking & plenty of time to relax.
Our little hamlet of Goughs Bay provides a General store, Caravan park with fantastic take away food, a licensed boat club that offers boat ramps & entertainment.
The Space
This immaculate spacious home has some very cool Austrian design features reminiscent of a cuckoo clock. Situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac within easy walking distance of the lakefront tracks. It is very peaceful with lots of lovely native birds living in the neighbouring bush and inquisitive Kangaroos in the adjoining reserve. There's heaps of space to park your boat and also a second 'secret garden' below the main backyard. Children could camp in their own backyard and have the time of their lives...without getting into too much mischief.
On the first floor (at street level) you have the master bedroom and bathroom plus the living and dining room complete with Bavarian style bar. There's also a wood fire and a reverse cycle air-conditioner plus sliding doors out onto the timber deck that runs the length of the building. The kitchen is certainly not the latest minimalist design but it is neat and clean and kind of funky!
Upstairs are two more bedrooms both with their own air-conditioners, a lovely balcony
Rumpus at the basement has loads of space for entertainment and provides direct access to the backyard to relax by the firepit or unwind in the cool breeze of the lake.
