Positive: Elegant, stately old building in great state of repair. A city landmark.
Negative: I was taken aback to learn (on the day of check-in) that credit/debit cards are not accepted. I was a travel consultant for 36 years and have stayed at hotels throughout the world. This is the first time I've been required to pay cash for my accommodation.
