Summary: This guest house occupies the lower level of an entire home shared with the owners who occupy the upper floor. The home was built in 1910 for Stanford's 1st President and his entry into the Pear orchard industry. The Space: Step back in time into this pet-free guest house, located on the lower half of the main Craftsman Style Farm House. The master bedroom features a king size bed, comfortable seating for two, internet, a smart TV, and mini-kitchenette containing a mini-fridge, microwave, induction cook-top with pans as well as a convection toaster/oven, and a Keurig coffee maker for making your favorite morning coffee. Coffee supplies are provided. Down the hall is a second guest room with a full size bed. At the end of the hall is the full bathroom with tub, shower, and linens. There is also an outdoor courtyard with seating for four. Each space contains an AC unit to keep guests cool and comfortable during the summer months and there is an electric fireplace in the main room to keep guests warm in the winter months. Guest Access: Guests have access to the large, lower level of the home, which presents as a Guest House. Guest have a private entry, through the downstairs sun room, and into the master bedroom. The door code will be emailed to guests 3 days prior to arrival. The Neighborhood: Talent is close to everything! The property itself sits in open farmland, surrounded by the foothills and vineyards of Southern Oregon. You are surrounded by area wineries and just ten minutes away from Downtown Ashland or Downtown Medford. Getting Around: The Medford Airport is approximately twenty minutes away. Other Things to Note: The Owners occupy the upper level of the home. The main home and the guest house are separated by a long staircase and a locked doors. There are no shared spaces. Interaction with Guests: You'll have all the privacy you need on-site unless of course, you need us. The owners live close by and we are always available to assist.
