Teds Beach house is a spacious family retreat that's close to everything you need without having to use your car. This classic Aussie beach house has been enjoyed by 3 generations. The beach side town of Inverloch offers something for everyone from water activities to local food and wine. The protected waters of Anderson Inlet make the coastal town of Inverloch a favourite holiday spot. Swimmers, water sports enthusiasts, surfers and fishermen flock to the beaches in the warmer months, while the surrounding walks and drives make Inverloch a popular year round destination. Many visitors consider the colder months the best time where they can have the beach to themselves and the town becomes a sleepy hamlet. Teds Beach House house is located an easy 5 minutes walk to the popular and child friendly Anderson Inlet beach, boat ramp, jetty and shops. Inverloch village which offers a host of cafes, pubs, designer shops, fishing shop, surf shop, skate ramp, information centre, service station and a large supermarket with bottle shop are all less than a kilometre away. The Glade Farmers Market held on the 3rd Sunday of each month is also a easy stroll. Everything is so close, you don't need to use your car. For those using public transport, the V/Line drop off/pick up station is a short walk. The house offers two living spaces. Downstairs is a split system air conditioned/heated lounge/dining room opening onto the shady front veranda which is great for your morning coffee and an open plan newly renovated kitchen with hot plates, oven, microwave and large fridge. Upstairs is a spacious family room perfect to kick back, enjoy the sunshine and sea breezes. It has large glass windows opening out onto a partly covered deck with views across the tree tops, Anderson Inlet and the ocean. A large outdoor table makes dining a pleasure. Both living spaces have flat screen televisions. Sleeping arrangements are perfect for families, grandparents, couples, singles and children. The downstairs master bedroom has a queen size bed and built in wardrobes. Adjacent, is another bedroom with twin singles that's great for children. A shower room, separate toilet and laundry complete this space. Upstairs is another master bedroom with queen size bed, built in robes, writing desk and views of the bay. All beds come with doona covers. Guests are required to bring their own linen, towels and pillows. If you require linen, South Coast Laundry Services in Wonthaggi can deliver to the door with prior notice. Both ourselves and Stayz do not manage this service and guests are required to liase and pay directly with the supplier for their service. A house cleaning fee is included in the bond details. Outside in the back yard is an undercover eating area with table for 6, a large gas bbq and a sunny lawn for a game of ball or sun baking. Teds Beach House is located in a quiet crescent with only local through traffic. There's fencing on three sides of the property but not at the front. Small well behaved dogs are welcome with permission from the owner. The driveway can easily accomodate three or four cars/boats in tandem as well as additional on street parking. Further afield, the patrolled surf beach is a few minutes drive. RACV Resort which is open to the public is approximately 5ks. Townsend Bluff nature walk is a beautiful 15 minutes walk along the beach front and all the attractions of Bunurong Marine Park with its abundant rock pools to explore and dinosaur fossils is an easy drive away. No dogs allowed in the national park. In-land by car, there are several boutique wineries and weekend markets. Leongatha and Wonthaggi Golf Courses and numerous walking/cycling trails are all a short drive. Wonthaggi township is 16kms by car, Leongatha 26kms and Phillip Island/San Remo approximately 30 minutes drive with the famous Penguin Parade and MotoGP track approx 55 minutes drive. Inverloch is also an easy daytrip to world renowned Wilsons Prom National Park.
