Positive: The flat was very attractive, It had a decent kitchen area and a nice court yard outside It was is a good location, for visiting my relatives in North Walsham It a short walk from the train station.
Negative: There was a of information about the accomadation , the was no instructions for the heating, the shower or the air fryer, the instructions for other appliances were in a draw it would have been nice to have information in a handy folder. The bedroom was hot it would have been nice to have be able to turn off the radiator, The bedding was basic with only a duvet . There was not a top sheet or any blankets or bedspread. A result it was not possible to make right for my needs and was too hot and uncomfortable. Someone else might be too cold. That flat had a lovely kitchen but lacked basics for catering , no paring or prep Knives, I had to cut an apple with a steak Knife. No scissors. No chopping boards for meat, fish and Veg there was only a wooden bread board. It was not geared up for someone to cook. I like to rent a catered flat so I can cook but the kitchen was so lacking in basic equipment I really could not. This a real niggle . A nice TV Area but no lap trays or coasters. So bits of crackers went everywhere. I bought some coasters so I use the coffee tables without marking There is a nice tray to put outdoor shoes or boots on, but no coat hook to hang my coat on. The toilet, sorry I do have to mention the toilet as the noise it made kept me awake. It did not shut off properly after flushing . The toilet would top up with water buzzing sound about every 15 seconds. The extra water flowing out would periodically trip the pump. This was noisy through the night . I did raise this and some one did come out to fix the toilet but the fix was not successful and the problem continued. I did not raise the issue again as I was leaving the next day This a is really nice cottage and but for me it was not great.
