Tarn Hows lodge is located on the award winning Limefitt Park. The fells low or high or even just an amble around Troutbeck village can be accessed right from your door. There are a couple of excellent Inns within walking distance from your lodge, the perfect watering holes for after a circular walk of which there are plenty in the area. Limefitt Park is a perfect location to explore the Lake District National park being approx 10 min drive from Windermere and Ambleside. Enjoy the Haybarn Inn on site with stunning views from the beer garden, Pool table & darts board in the Haybarn and there is a small on site shop and launderette. There is also a shallow river pool for paddling, children's play area and a dog field for our four legged friends. Tarn Hows Lodge is a traditional solid pine style lodge with a unique cast iron log effect gas stove in the spacious lounge/dining area and benefiting from a twin bedroom (not bunk beds). Tarn Hows Lodge is a double width size lodge so quite spacious inside. Having a prime location over looking the beck, with spectacular views of Wansfell just relax on your large south facing decking listening to the soothing sound of the beck or spoil yourself in your own private outside Hot Tub! Tarn Hows Lodge is ideal for couples or families and sleeps up to 4 people plus 1 infant. The lodge is cosy and well equipped offering a home from home feel. Pet friendly - up to two small/medium size dogs. Decking area is enclosed and gated. Accommodation: Heated by a Log effect Gas Stove (cosy!), electric wall mounted heaters, a traditional solid pine lodge suitable for all year use.
