Minutes to Tanglewood, and very close to Berkshire Theater Festival, Shakespeare & Co., Norman Rockwell Museum, Shaker Village and much more. Enjoy all of the best of the Berkshires and then come back to a tranquil retreat - whether indoors in the comfy great room with huge stone fireplace or on the deck. Every window opens to endless horizons of the Berkshire mountains and romantic sunsets. Perfect for a family with grandparents or two couples as each floor has its own den with TV (HBO/Showtime/Netflix/Amazon). There is also a gravel terrace on the ground floor, with a separate entrance to the guest bedroom. The house gives you the best of both worlds- plenty of space for family gatherings combined with plenty of space for quiet, private time. Drive three minutes to the charming center of West Stockbridge for Italian and Vietnamese cuisine, the public market for barbecue chow, antique shops, a swimming pond with sandy play area, and Turn Park Sculpture Garden. The house is pet friendly and there is a new ice cream store in town that serves yogurt cups for pups!
