This 3-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath home plus a bonus room (sleeps up to 12) is nestled in a quiet cove on Lake Tillery, leading to a 5,000-acre crystal-clean lake. It offers 2,400 square feet of living space. Come and enjoy a wonderful lake experience with all water sports available. You can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, and water sports. The fishing and boating are great! This attractive lakefront home provides year-round enjoyment. Nearby activities: Morrow Mountain, Uwharrie National Forest, Gold Mines, Equestrian Facilities, Parks, Drive-In Movie, Unique Townships, Museums, Agri-Tourism, Arts, Vineyards, Golf Approximately an hour to the following - NASCAR's Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord; Pinehurst, with it's world-class golfing; Rockingham Dragway; NC Zoo & NC Pottery Center located in the village of Seagrove with it's scenic roads through rolling hills and picturesque farmland dotted with small country towns and potteries. Within 40 minutes is Reed Gold Mine where fun activities include gold panning, orientation film, tours & a picnic area. Morrow Mountain State Park is excellent for hiking and a picnic. Rowboats and canoes are available for rent for a small fee. Enjoy golf within 10 - 15 minutes at two local golf courses. BOAT ACCESS AREA: 45815 A Lakeshore Drive, Norwood, NC 28128. FISHING: Must follow the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission regulations for public waters.
