"Table Rock" is a three bedroom waterfront cottage, recently renovated, located on a quiet dead-end road at the tip of the Bruce on the dividing line between Georgian Bay and Lake Huron. The main living area has a large field-stone fireplace, bright walls and laminate flooring, a stereo with CD player, a DVD player, television with satellite dish and two couches along with a comfortable chair. There are 10 ft by 6 ft windows facing the lake for a great view. Adding to this is a large waterfront deck with deck-glass railings to provide an unobstructed view of the lake. Adjacent to the living room is a hardwood maple table and chairs suitable to comfortably seat six. A new LCD wall-mounted television with swing arm provides viewing to the dining room table for the morning news and living room for nightly movies. For your convenience, wireless internet is also available at the cottage. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge and stove, microwave, and dishwasher. There is plenty of counter space and cupboard storage. An iron remover has also been added to this property to improve the quality of the water. There are three bedrooms at the cottage - one with bunks beds, the second with one single and one double, and the third bedroom has a queen bed. All of the rooms have blinds. The cottage also has full laundry facilities with a washer and dryer. There is a four-piece bathroom with tub and separate shower. The cottage is surrounded by trees which provides a private setting. There is a large wooden deck over-looking Lake Huron. A hot tub can be enjoyed on this deck, as you relax after a day of outdoor activities. On the east side of the cottage is a smaller morning sun deck. Linger with your morning coffee on this deck in the warmth of the morning sun and protected from the winds off Lake Huron. Lands surrounding the cottage are grassy and flat. An outdoor fire pit is located in this area. The owner has constructed an elevated walkway out to a large rock stack and at the end of the walkway is an 8 ft by 12 ft elevated deck with an unobstructed panoramic view of Georgian Bay. This is a great spot to watch fantastic sunsets directly in front of the deck during the summer months. Stairs lead down to a beautiful shoreline with large areas of flat rock and clear blue water. There are areas of shallow entry. The cottage comes with the use of two sit-on-top sea kayaks, great for exploring the Lake Huron shoreline. Look for the shipwreck out in front of the cottage known as the "Cascadia". The cottage has a garage containing a ping pong table. Tobermory is a short distance away (9 km) on a paved road. There you can stroll through the shops in the village, visit the restaurants and the library and enjoy the beautiful natural harbour. You can also take a scenic boat cruise where you can view shipwrecks, lighthouses and visit Flowerpot Island. Dinner cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are also very popular. The sandy shore of Singing Sands Beach is just a short drive away (13 km) and provides a perfect place for the kids to play in the sand and swim.
