Positive: The 4 poster bed and wood paneled high ceiling made the room. Bed was comfortable. The property was remote and we saw deer daily. The outside area with the hammocks was relaxing and enjoyable.
Negative: The lighting in the room was horrible. The bathroom sink was very slow to drain. I would have appreciated extra towels and washcloths. There was a small coffeemaker and 2 mugs supplied and adequate coffee supplies and teabags, but no dish detergent. Very hard to clean the pot in the small bathroom sink, especially with the drain problem. We lost WiFi on Sunday after the storm on Saturday night. We were gone all day and when I called to report on Sunday evening I got a recording and was told to leave a message. Since we were leaving early Sunday I didn’t leave a message. Would have appreciated better instructions on using the tv,and more information on Dripping Spring, where to ear, things to do, etc.
Summary: The weather cancelled some of our hiking plans, but we did manage Pedernales State Park and Hamilton Pool. We had an ama
