Positive: Swasti Eco Cottages is a sanctuary in the midst of bustling Ubud. It is peaceful and yet in an excellent location to access restaurants and shops and other attractions. The food at the restaurant is healthy, beautifully prepared and well prices. The restaurant is peaceful and well maintained.
Negative: Upon arrival we were offered an 'upgrade' from the deluxe double room to a cottage. The only way in which this was an upgrade is that there were three additional single beds in the room. Although we were travelling with family, we are a couple without children and we do not need additional beds. Other than that the room was not an upgrade, in fact it was not nearly as well appointed as our original room. As a result of the 'upgrade', we had to wait until 9.45pm for access to our room, during which time we were not offered a cup of tea. We were offered a cup of tea at 9.45pm but by that time we were so exhausted we just wanted to go to our room and sleep.
Summary: Really good, economical accommodation, with good amenities and good location.
