Located directly next to the Swamp Rabbit Trail, Unity Park, The Commons, Swamp Rabbit Crossfit, and Southernside Brewery Co., and a 15 minute walk along the SRT to Downtown Greenville! 1940's charming mill house with BIKES provided to enjoy the SRT and downtown, original hardwood floors in main living areas (slanting but structurally sound), modern kitchen and bathroom, screened back porch with table and quiet back yard! Comfortable beds, lush towels, washer/dryer, child and pet friendly!
The space
Live like a local by walking or biking to downtown Greenville! We are about a 15-minute leisurely walk along the Swamp Rabbit Trail (SRT) to downtown Greenville or be there in minutes by bike. Swamp Rabbit Red Roof is an 1940s mills house about 900 square feet with original hardwood floors in main areas. The floors in living room are sloping a little but incredibly structurally sound! We are at the end a street right next to the SRT at the end of an 1930s mill village area that is transitioning into Unity Park. Unity Park is AMAZING! Located next to The Commons- Unity Park has green space, picnic areas, splash pad for kids, beautiful playground, and access to the Trail-- All within walking distance from our home! To access the bathroom you will go through the guest bedroom adjacent to the laundry room. If bringing sweet fido, please contact owner about pet fee.
Next to the home is a rail line- Norfolk Southern that runs to the station close by. Sometimes the rail line does blow the horn and rumble next door.

Swamp Rabbit Red Roof is at the end of a transitional neighborhood and is close to a local Amtrak (train) station is .5 mile around the corner (it can be a little loud with the coming and going of the train at times), an industrial area, and Greenville Hospital System are very close as well. The street can be a tad busy with cars as you head the short walk to the trail. If you turn left on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, Travelers Rest is about an 8-mile beautiful bike ride to enjoy all the restaurants and fun they have to offer!
