Positive: The apartment was very clean, had everything needed for a long vacation plus it was spacious and cool - perfect for the Greek summer. The bedrooms are facing the back terrace allowing a good night's rest. The host was very friendly and struck a perfect balance of respectful distance and being supportive in every way needed. Great access to public transportation (Buses A2/B2 to Athens , X96 to the airport and a tram stop). It was nice to alternate between a day in Athens and beach days. Glyfada's public beaches are right around the corner, as are the marinas, and are in perfectly fine walking distance. Glyfada itself has everything in terms of grocery shops , bakeries, restaurants etc. and we ended up alternating between walking and taking the tram there and back. All in all the place was perfect for a mix of city and beach holidays and we were fully satisfied.
Negative: Saturday nights were a little loud due to the music hall next door but in the bigger picture not a problem. Nothing but kiosks close-by will require a bit of shopping and meal planning (alternatively ordering in). At the time construction at the marina was going on, though it did not really impact our every day life nor was it sth. the host could change.
