This second story, full floor, Bed & Breakfast suite has a large private bathroom, luxurious king-size bed and a private walk out balcony, overlooking the water. We are located on Prince Edward County‘s popular Westlake and will accommodate two people max, ( the main floor suite is rented separately, ) This waterfront property is facing the beach at Sand Dunes and right next-door to Isaiah Tubbs Resort. The backyard has a shallow, sandy waterfront, boasting beautiful sunsets that can be enjoyed on the walk out balcony from your room, the back deck with a propane fire pit, in the gazebo, on the dock or by the waters edge with a wood fire.
We are within walking distance to Sand and Pearl restaurant, the restaurant at Isaiah Tubbs's Resort, Dune Hopper Brewery, and a very short drive to the Tambo snack bar and convenience store. Westlake Watersports is a 2 minute drive, where you can rent jet skis, pontoon boats, or flyboards.
The Sandbanks Dunes Beach and Sandbanks Outlet beach are both within 2.5 km and beach/ park passes are provided free for our guests. The living room, all outdoor spaces and continental breakfast are shared with hosts and occasionally, other guests

Summary: Sunset Escape is truly a hidden gem on Westlake. If you're looking for a quiet, cozy, and elegant spot to unwind in Prince Edward County, this is the ideal place. Julie and Al are incredibly kind and attentive hosts who made us feel completely at home. The property is simply wonderful: it features excellent amenities, including a spacious upper suite with both a fan and air conditioning, a high-quality king-size bed that ensures a restful sleep, a private balcony with two Muskoka chairs, and a stunning view of the lake, perfect for enjoying the incredible sunsets. The suite also has a well-appointed bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, a high-tech toilet, dual sinks, and a hair dryer. Breakfast was really nice, including multiple options of delicious food, coffee, tea and juice. The house is well-equipped with multiple fire pits, two kayaks, life jackets, a cozy gazebo, and a barbecue area. Julie and Al also provided a seasonal pass to the provincial park, which was very convenient for beach visits. They also shared fantastic recommendations for local restaurants and wineries. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!
