The wide verandah is perfect for entertaining, with a BBQ provided, as well as full kitchen facilities for you to cook to your heart’s content.
Walking distance to Brooklyn Oval, with a playground and plenty of wide open spaces for a summery picnic, or afternoon stroll.
The 3 bedroom property features 2x queen sized beds, and 2x king single, with each room, fitted out with modern decor and high quality bed linen. There is a full service kitchen, with a gas cooktop and oven, dishwasher, fridge, and a few more creature comforts (like a coffee machine, perfect for you to sip a morning brew overlooking the water). The built in laundry hosts a washer and dryer, in case you need to wash while away. There are two bathrooms in the property, with the master bathroom featuring a spacious bath.
The gem of the space is truly the communal space, with an open plan living and dining area occupying the back of the house, facing the large sliding windowed doors to the backyard. A crackling fireplace makes the perfect gathering place for brisk winter nights while opening the doors out to the backyard allows a summer breeze to cool down your evenings.

The gateway to Hawkesbury, Brooklyn is surrounded on every side by either the river or rolling hills, so everywhere you look is sure to be a picturesque contrast to home. You’ll be boating the Hawkesbury River one day, and strolling through lush walking trails the next. There are a variety of facilities to hire kayaks, boats, and everything required for many other water activities. The area is known for seafood (as it was previously a fishing port!) and the local fare reflects this, with a range of restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes. The community is heavily family oriented, with an emphasis on maintaining local parks and facilities for the enjoyment of all.
By train, Brooklyn is an hour from Sydney and is even less if driving. The area is steeped in history, and the Visitor Centre is a great place to start, as they will be able to provide you with information on the historic significance of many of the local landmarks.
Getting Around:
Although Brookyln is a small town, we would recommend having access to a car if you are staying at the property, as there are limited public transport options in the area. This will also allow you to explore the local area, and get to know the truly beautiful scenery in the surrounding region.

Safety: This property fronts on to the jetty, without adequate fencing for small children or pets, so please consider this before making your booking.
Buoy: A buoy located just off the jetty out the front of the property is available and can be used if you wish to moor your boat or rent a boat to use during your stay.
Rubbish: Guests are required to take all rubbish off site. The home is located far away from the main road and bins are not provided by the owner of the home. Any rubbish left behind incurs a min fee of $150 which can be higher depending on amount of rubbish left behind.
Pets: Pets are unfortunately not welcome at the house.
Noise Policy: We always follow strict noise regulations and ask you to be respectful and considerate. Any breach of the noise regulations may result in eviction without a refund of remaining funds or deposit.
Age Limit: We do not accept reservations for groups with travellers under the age of 23 years unless a specific exception has been approved. The home is perfect for mature travellers and families.
Supplies: A complimentary welcome pack will be provided that includes several single use items to get you started including tea, coffee, sugar, milk, soap, laundry, and dishwashing supplies. For extended stays we ask you to remember to bring extra provisions.
