Sunbeam Bungalows is a family vacation and fishing resort in Callander, Ontario, on the south east shore of Lake Nipissing. There are 1, 2 and 3 bedroom cottages to choose from. All our housekeeping cottages are clean, fully furnished, fully equipped, comfortable and spacious! They have open concept kitchen and living room area, 3 or 4 piece bath, and are made up and ready for occupancy. In the summer, a clean fully equipped boat and motor are included in the weekly rate. In the Spring and Fall you have a choice of 'accommodation only' or package rates that include boat & motor. We have five 3 bedroom housekeeping cottages. Each has a fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TV with digital cable, DVD player, and Wi-Fi internet service. Other features you can expect are microwave, 4 burner stove with oven, full size refrigerator, coffee maker with filters, toaster, salad spinner, pots & pans, bowls, dishes, cutlery, tea towels, dish cloths and hand towels, ceiling fan, heat thermostat. Linens, soap, bathroom tissue, etc. are supplied weekly. Outdoors you have a private deck/porch and seating area, BBQ & propane tank, picnic table, Muskoka chairs and fire bowl. There are also communal BBQ's in the gathering area, as well as on the waterfront deck. Recreational activities include basketball net, shuffleboard, ping pong or badminton, all available on site. There is a play area which includes a play park, swing set, teeter totter, and toys. Lake Nipissing is world renowned for its fishing. There are stocks of Pickerel (Walleye), great Northern Pike and Muskie, plus Small mouth Bass. You'll also find Largemouth and Rock bass, Yellow Perch, and a number of other species. Fish in sheltered Callander Bay within sight of our resort, or venture out as far as you wish. Our well-maintained 16-foot Legend boats and reliable 4-stroke 25hp electric start motors will take you to your favorite fishing holes quickly. 3 BEDROOM: The SPRING/FALL rate for a 3 bedroom cottage is $1300 per week and $260 per night ( 3 night minimum) and includes accommodation only. SPRING/FALL PACKAGE rates of $1670 CAD per week/$334 CAD nightly (3 night minimum) include accommodation PLUS 1 boat/motor (basic rate) with an additional charge of $400 per week for any additional boat/motor. SUMMER rate is $1670 per week (weekly reservations only) and includes clean 16 ft. aluminum boat with bilge pump, 3 cushioned swivel chairs, colour fish finders and reliable 25 HP electric start power-tilt motor. In lieu of the Sunbeam Bungalows boat, guest may launch and dock up to two personal boats. Additional boats and motors available at daily or weekly rates. Your cottage accommodation is in a fully equipped and furnished self-catering cottage. Free use of all waterfront and recreational facilities. Rates do not include gasoline or taxes. Sunbeam Bungalows is located in Callander Bay on Lake Nipissing, known for its great fishing (walleye, bass, northern pike and musky). Their large, protected marina has a fleet of 16 ft Legend fishing boats, complete with 4-stroke 25 hp motors for a quiet and reliable ride. There is also plenty of space for docking of personal boats. Guests enjoy a long stretch of private beach, where the water is reliably shallow for carefree swimming. Waterfront equipment includes canoes, water skis, kayak, pedal boat, kneeboard and sea biscuit. Government approved life jackets are available. There is also fishing off the dock (catch and release) for rock bass, sunfish, smallmouth bass and catfish. As well as a sundeck on the beach, Sunbeam Bungalows has a 2,500 sq. ft marina deck extending 80 feet into the lake, for the exclusive use of guests, with a stairway down to shallow water. The deck is set up with lounge chairs, a covered gazebo, BBQ and picnic tables with umbrellas, and is a great place for guests to gather to watch and photograph the amazing Callander Bay sunsets. Nearby attractions include golf courses, walking trails, the Chief Commanda lake cruises, seasonal farmers' markets.
