The kitchen/dining room overlooks the back garden and has sleek, black granite worktops with plenty of preparation area. The appliances include a washing machine, dishwasher, electric Rangemaster cooker with ceramic hob, integrated fridge/freezer, toaster and a microwave oven. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine - with four capsules to get you started. The kitchen is equipped with a great range of cooking and baking equipment. There is a rustic dining table and chair set which comfortably seats four people. In the spacious lounge there is a wonderful inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove, a large sofa with two very comfortable armchairs. A long zinc desk provides space to work on a laptop (wi-fi is installed for fast internet and email). The entertainment system includes a smart TV, DVD player and a Sonos music system. The stairs are carpeted and have a handrail but they are fairly steep and may be unsuitable for someone with mobility difficulties. The master bedroom is styled in soft, relaxing greys and has a kingsize bed and ample wardrobe and storage space. There are two comfortable window seats overlooking the garden. The smart, modern en-suite bathroom has a large, double-ended bath, a wc and a hand basin. The second bedroom has two full-sized single divan beds and plenty of storage space. The en-suite bathroom has a spacious shower, large handbasin and wc. Both bedrooms are fitted with venetian blinds as well as Roman blinds to enable you to control light levels. The bedrooms have a view to the garden. Outside Sun Cottage there is a pretty garden, albeit in its first year! There is a patio at the end of the garden with table, chairs and parasol seating four people. There is also a little summerhouse and a barbecue. A bench outside the backdoor of the cottage provides a pleasant space by the herb garden to enjoy an early morning coffee. There is a right of way running behind Sun Cottage which gives our lovely neighbour access for bin collection and her bike. There is parking for one car and plenty of space in front of the cottage for another.
