The end unit provides additional natural light, breezes and ocean views. Sit back and enjoy ocean views from both bedrooms. Located in a beautiful condo complex north of the Matanzas Inlet, there’s plenty to do on and off the beach. With four ocean view pools (all are heated in winter), six updated tennis courts, four racquetball courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and two basketball courts, plus a playground for children, you’ll have plenty to do! When you aren’t outside, you can still enjoy the ocean views from Summerhouse 251’s beautiful balcony, overlooking one of the pools and complete with ocean views. There is comfortable patio furniture for your relaxation.
Summerhouse 251’s first level, includes a bright, airy, updated and stocked kitchen, perfect for preparing all your meals. All you need are the groceries. The kitchen looks out to the dining area, with plenty of seating for six. If cooking an elaborate spread is against your vacation plans, there’s a microwave and toaster, as well as plenty of pantry storage, not to mention freezer storage for anything you want kept fresh for later. The dining room is perfect for meals or game night, with plenty of room to spread out. You can also pop in a movie in the DVD player and curl up on the couch which converts to a comfortable, Queen-sized bed. A half bath is also conveniently located on the first level.
Summerhouse 251 is a wonderful relaxation spot! Head upstairs in Summerhouse 251 for the guest bedroom, and master en suite, which are both comfortably furnished and updated. The guest bedroom has two extra-long twin beds, (with full bath close by). The master suite’s comfortable king size bed will leave you refreshed after a long night’s sleep. If you prefer, open the picture windows to let in the sea breeze and feel all the stress from your day-to-day life melt away.

Summary: We have stayed at Summerhouse for years but this is the first time we have rented with VRBO. The process of renting and picking up keys, and checking out, was convenient and easy. We had no reason to contact the owner, so I cannot speak to that. The unit itself is wonderful, with natural light, comfortable recliners (such a treat!), and a great balcony set up, where we spent a lot of time. I did notice a few issues with housekeeping that could be improved upon. The coffee maker was grimy but cleaned up easily enough. I would have preferred a new, unwrapped kitchen sponge, and more than one kitchen towel in the kitchen though. The linens upstairs (towels and sheets) need to be evaluated and replaced as necessary. I found some rust colored stains on two pillowcases that were unpleasant to consider. A tear in the fitted sheet on the king bed that my toe kept finding. Towels were a little worn and/or dingy. A little dust on lamps and other surfaces. A glob of toothpaste on the bathroom vanity cabinet door. These issues would not keep me from renting again, but it’s a great place and a sharper eye from housekeeping would make it 5 stars all around.
