ABOUT THE PROPERTY
If you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a great family escape, then you’ve found your dream destination: A charming Log Cabin on the crystal-clear waters of Sugar Loaf Lake on Lone Man Creek. (Sleeps 4 Adults -or- 2 Adults plus up to 3 children)
The Cabin is steps away from the water’s edge with an amazing view from the full-length porch. Sugar Loaf Lake is formed by a dam across spring-fed Lone Man Creek and is up to 12 ft deep. The wide dam is a great place for hanging out or easy entry into the water. There is a dock on the property which has stairs for easy entry/exit. Paddle boards, a kayak, a canoe and inflatables are available for your use. Catch & Release fishing is great fun as the lake is full of perch & bass.
The cabin is spacious with a very open floor plan. The fully stocked kitchen has everything for your cooking needs including basic spices. Several beverages, bottled water, coffee & tea are provided for guests. There is a large open dining area inside with a table for 6 or, you can dine on the porch where there is a propane grill. The large bedroom has a king-sized comfortable bed. There are two queen-sized futons in the living room. The bathroom has a claw-foot tub and an outside shower is located just off the porch. Bath products are organic. There are many special touches to make this property second to none. You'll find all the comforts of home: central air, high-speed/wireless Internet, satellite TV and even an Alexa and Bluetooth speakers for music.
Your small-medium well-behaved/leashed dog is welcome. The size of this home makes it most appropriate for one dog unless an exception is made with the Host.
The owners live in another house on the property and are very responsive hosts. If there is anything you need, they are available to help. But the cabin is very private, so, interaction with the owner, if any, will be determined by the Guest.
