Welcome to Sugar Bush Creek Cottage! Come escape to our one of a kind, Gull Lake chain retreat. Enjoy our beautiful, unique property, that will provide endless fun & adventure for you and your family. The very spacious lot provides a perfect place for kids to run and explore!
The cottage is nestled on the east side of Round Lake. Its location will provide you with the BEST sunsets in the area. It doesn’t stop there, the majority of the cottage is surrounded by water; as sugar bush creek surrounds the property, along with 250ft of lake footage. The views are endless.
The cabin has been newly renovated with a nautical, up north cottage charm. Enjoy lake views from the living room, where you can view evening sunsets or relax with our complimentary Netflix, Amazon prime, WIFI. Accommodated with seating area for those peaceful mornings, with your coffee & book.
This beautiful updated kitchen is outfitted with all you would ever need. Its large butcher block island, which faces views of the creek, makes the perfect prep space for those nights cooking in. The granite peninsula provides extra barstool seating of 4. While opening into the dinning room where the table provides comfortable seating for 6. This lay out will allow you to stay in the action with your family and friends.
The cabin can sleep a total of 11. The Master bedroom has a queen sized bed, TV and its own master bathroom. The second bedroom also has a queen sized bed with access to the bunk room & master bedroom. The bunkroom is attached to the second bedroom, which has one bunk bed that is a full/full with a twin trundle. The living room can sleep 2 extra on our pull out queen sofa. Feel free to pack light! This cabin comes equipped with a set of large front load washers. Linens, towels, toiletries are all provided.
There is a propane grill located on the side of the house. The wide large front yard provides a great space for eating, yard games and room for kids to run. The fire pit is located on the NW corner, surrounded by both the creek and lake. The perfect place to hear those Round Lake, Minnesota loons. The beach provides plenty of digging in the sand for the little ones. Its been a lot of continuous upkeep, but is still slightly mucky. We provide a lily pad for older kids to lay out and swim off the end of the dock. There is a small dock in the creek, located in the back yard, next to the weeping willow that provides a spot with a shallow hard bottom, perfect for children swimming. Also, enjoy a peaceful evening by taking one of the paddle boards or kayaks we provide up the creek or out into the lake. Don’t forget your fishing poles! We have a hot spot just for the kids, off the bridge that lays over the creek!
Bringing a boat? Great! Round lake is a peaceful and quite body of water. There is fantastic fishing and swimming. There are a few sand bars we would love to point you in the direction of! Would you like to head over to action packed, Gull Lake? Take your pontoon or fishing boat under the 371 tunnel, through Bishops Creek, were you are greeted with multiple choices of restaurants and fun!
