Look closely you'll see inlaid accents carved from authentic ballast brick brought to the island on 19th century sailing ships that carried sugar and rum back to Europe. From the great room or the pool area, watch sailors come and go on the great bay below an outdoor museum designated as the Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve. Tour the park's Visitor Contact Station, enjoy a refreshing swim at its white sandy beach visible from your villa, or stop by the marina to arrange a guided kayak expedition through the bay.
