Summary: Well appointed, tastefully remodeled - a perfect retreat in the remote landscape of Umbria. We had the pleasure of staying at this property for over 2 weeks this August and September.The owner was very responsive, courteous and engaging. It seemed like from the very beginning of the conversation that he would be a good owner as opposed to many in VRBO that are simply difficult and overbearing. Anyway the place is very remotely situated in the Umbrian region, which at first seems daunting when driving roughly 6 hours from Milan, but that's what we signed up for, to be as remote as possible from the craziness of NYC. The remoteness of the place, the beauty of it's landscape, the beautifully remodeled house in modern features along with a heated pool is the prescription for recharging your soul. The house again is remote but is only an hour away from major medieval cities such as Assissi, Alezzo, Perugia, etc. We took advantage of this and visited every town possible with the kids and it was great.Anyway my wife and I consider ourselves to have great taste and this house did not disappoint. Our kids were easily entertained, there was many things to do inside and outside of the house, and bathrooms were all beautiful, and beds and beddings very comfortable. Enjoy
