Relax on the deck over-looking your private 100' of pristine waterfront on Lake Huron. This newly built, air conditioned, custom log home with an incredible 23' vaulted ceiling is located on a 1/2 acre of treed land. It has everything you need for a fantastic holiday on the beautiful Bruce Peninsula. Located in a peaceful neighbourhood, you can enjoy wonderful swimming and gorgeous sunsets from the privacy of your own luxury space. The home is located in a quiet area, approximately 35 minutes south of Tobermory and the Bruce Peninsula National Park, 15 minutes from the hamlet of Lion's Head, and 25 minutes from Wiarton. It is the perfect location to unwind and relax to the sounds of the lake and the chirping of the birds. The house faces west giving you a stunning view of some of the best sunsets around. Sit around a campfire in the evenings, watch the fabulous sunsets, and then wait for the gorgeous stars to come out and dazzle. The Northern Bruce Peninsula is a dark sky community, which leads to jaw dropping evening views of the Moon, the planets in our solar system, and the entire Milky Way Galaxy. The area is generally pretty good for bugs, but mosquitos and a few other flying critters can make an appearance. But if they do, you can enjoy the landscape from the beautiful screened porch, with floor to ceiling windows. The space is also amazing if the weather turns. If it's too hot, head in to the air conditioned house and enjoy quality time with your family while watching the beautiful lake. Or, if the weather cools, curl up in front of a magnificently large gas fire and lose yourself in the pages of a good book. The house features a very large custom build cedar deck, with a private walkout from the master bedroom. Enjoy your morning coffee from the deck, or grill up your favourite cuts on the large stainless steel barbecue. There are 3 bedrooms that can sleep up to 4 adults and 4 children. Or a family of 6 adults and 2 children. All bedrooms are fitted with blackout curtains so you don't have to wake up when the sun does. The house has an open concept kitchen & living room and the entire home is pine throughout. Cathedral ceilings and a second floor loft affords breathtaking views of Lake Huron through floor-to-ceiling windows. The kitchen is fitted with a large family fridge, five burner gas stove and oven, built-in dishwasher & microwave. There is also a laundry room with a washer & dryer. The loft has a pull out couch area with a flat screen TV for your use. "High Speed" WiFi is available with unlimited downloads (but high speed in rural Ontario is not the same as in Toronto!) This is our home, but we rent it out when we are away. Please keep that in mind and treat it as you would your home. Please note that there are three security cameras on the exterior of the house that record video and audio.
