3 Bedroom House in Tofino
Set in a 2 1/2ac forest with over 700ft of waterfront. Launch your paddle board or kayak & paddle the bay. Stroll down to a private cove to take in the beauty of the Tofino Inlet. Watch shore birds forage and bears and wolves on the distant shore. Relax and enjoy one of five outdoor areas. Two of the decks are covered, one is open air, Fireside Edge and Water's Edge Cove are your own private oasis. Three decks have water views and Fireside Edge is surrounded by gardens and forest. When you are ready to venture out these attractions are a 10 minute stroll: turn left to S. Chesterman Beach or right to N Chesterman Beach. Continue north to Beaches, a favourite local hangout. Enjoy coffee, muffins. chocolates, surf and bike rentals and food truck fare, including the famous Tacofino and our favourite - Wildside Grill. Roar - two doors north has hot piping coffee and pastries first thing in the coffee bar morning and a full service dining room for meals. Tofino is approximately 5km away. If you want to walk or ride your bike the MUP (Multi Use Path) runs from the south boundary of Pacific Rim National Park to the town of Tofino. The path runs parallel to the highway and the front of our property. Tofino is known for its food scene. Schooner Restaurant (run by the Bruce Family for 74+ years!!!), Wolf in the Fog, The Point at the Wickaninnish Inn, Shelter, Roar at Zed (3 driveways from us), the Bear and the Maq Inn at the 1st Street Dock. Heading south to the Cox Bay Area Pacific Rim Resort is home to Surfside Grill. (Food is consistently good!) They feature locally caught seafood creations. Long Beach Lodge is further down the beach. For fine dining The Great Room has great food and awesome views. Sand Bar Bistro is open air dinning. The Surf Club has coffee, tea and pastries. For a small community Tofino has some great local boutiques bakeries and coffee shops. "Ouest Patisserie" creates beautiful delicious sweets and oh so good breads. Long Beach Golf course is a challenging 9 hole golf course and there is a miniture golf course located close to Long Beach. For relaxation there are many spas in the area.
