Sleeps 8; Loon Lodge at Whiteface Club Resort with it's gorgeous manicured grounds and gardens, sandy swimming beach, marina, golf, tennis and restaurants...winter offers groomed cross country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding. Newly renovated and tastefully decorated in Adirondack Rustic style, Loon Lodge is your ideal vacation home. Fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves on the lake right outside your windows. Walk to your choice of four restaurants, literally minutes away. Stroll across the 18th fairway to the historic pro shop and start a round of golf on our championship golf course. Perhaps tennis is your game...the tennis center features six clay courts that are fully staffed. Sit on your balcony and enjoy one of the best views of the Lake and Whiteface Mountain. If you prefer a hike to a secluded beach...the Peninsula trail is a close hike that will take you around the lake to secluded swimming areas maintained by the State and part of the Jackrabbit trail system. Perfect for hiking, mountain biking, skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Escape the craziness of downtown Lake Placid yet be only 5 minutes by car to the center of the Village. Enjoy the amenities of resort living including: Golf, Tennis, Private Beach (rental includes complimentary beach membership for all guest), Marina, two Resort restaurants serving 7 days a week during the summer and a 5 minute walk to the well known Lake Placid Lodge with fine dining & Maggie's Pub on the lake for a more relaxed atmosphere. Loon Lodge has bee completed renovating by the be new owners and they have done a wonderful job. New stone fireplace(only can be used with fire-logs) , hardwood, tile & carpeting, queen bedroom overlooking the lake, king bedroom, kids' room with two bunk beds that include 3 twins and 1 double. Two guest bathrooms including a full tub & shower. Chef's kitchen has everything you could look for including all new appliances, counter tops and cabinets...fully equipped with cutlery, plates, flatware, and pots/pans. Also included is high speed WiFi, 4 Flat Screen TV's, wood burning fireplace, wood not included but bags can be purchased at the price chopper. Bringing a boat? No problem, the marina at the Club has available weekly rentals of docks as well as kayaks, canoes, SUP's and sail boats for rent, however you will need to reserve your spot prior to your arrival as the slips fill up quickly. The patio area shown in pictures with a fire pit is not available for guest use it is strictly for the owners.
