Located directly across the road from Prince Gallitzin State Park property in Flinton, PA, which is adjacent to State Hunting lands, our newly renovated cabin is the perfect destination for your year round adventures in central Pennsylvania. Nestled in a wooded setting, this cabin allows you and your companions to enjoy the beauty and serenity of nature while staying close to local attractions. Wildlife, including deer, are frequently seen on the property. The cabin is just 1 mile from the Beaver Valley Marina on Glendale Lake in Prince Gallitzin State Park, and 6 miles away from the Rock Run ATV Recreation Area in Patton. A 10% discount will be given for Active Duty military, veterans, police, fire personnel, corrections officers, medical personnel, and first responders (with proper ID confirmation - discount reflected in rates upon booking). Age of Active Duty military will be considered on a case by case basis if under 25 years of age. With 3 levels of living space, you will have plenty of room for your family, hunting group, or couples vacationing together, or have the intimate coziness for a romantic couple's getaway. The fully equipped kitchen will enable you to cook tasty meals. The gas grill on the covered front porch will allow you to cook in any weather. The dining area easily seats 8 people, plus the game table in the living area will seat an additional 2 people. The gas woodstove fireplace in the main living area provides warmth and a cozy atmosphere. The outside fire pit has bench seating for roasting hotdogs and smores. There are two full bathrooms, one with a tub/shower combo on the lower level and another with a step-in shower on the main level. Both showers have dispensers which provide shampoo, conditioner, and unscented shower gel. Bath towels are provided. Hair dryer in each bathroom. The lower level master bedroom has a queen bed, a 32 inch flat screen Roku TV, a DVD player, chest of drawers, and a closet. The main level bedroom has a queen bed, a 32 inch flat screen Roku TV, a DVD player, chest of drawers, and a closet. The loft area has twin and full size beds, a 22 inch flat screen TV, Roku streaming stick, DVD player, and a chest of drawers. All bed linens are provided, with warm and cozy fleece bedsheets used during the winter season, and soft and cool microfiber bedsheets used during the summer season. All of the new mattresses and pillows are covered in hypoallergenic covers. No feather pillows or comforters are used. A fold down full size futon is located in the main living area. The comfy sofa has dual recliners. A 55 inch flat screen Roku TV is located in the main living area. A collection of games, DVDs and books are available for your enjoyment. Streaming Roku TV, high speed internet and Wi-Fi are provided as a courtesy free of charge. The laundry area has a full size washer and dryer, plus an ironing board and iron should you require to use them during your stay. We have 2 long, pull-thru driveways to accommodate your boat or ATV trailers, plus room to park 4 cars. There are restaurants, grocery stores, beer distributors, dollar stores, churches, and gas stations located within 9 miles or less of the cabin. We have a no smoking, no pet policy which is strictly enforced due to the owners allergies/respiratory issues. No smoking combustibles which produce embers are permitted on the property. E-cigarettes and vapes are only permitted on the porches, not inside the cabin, to avoid chemical odors that may trigger respiratory problems for the owners and other guests. There are hardwired smoke/carbon monoxide detectors on all inside levels of the cabin, plus outside video surveillance for the protection of guests and the property. The cabin is not childproofed, so it is not suitable for small children under the age of 5 years. The cabin is not handicapped accessible. You will need to climb stairs to use the cabin. No parties or events are permitted at the cabin. We expect our guests to treat our cabin with the cleanliness and respect it deserves. The minimum age of the primary renter is 25 years of age. The primary renter is required to be staying at the cabin during the rental period. A lease agreement is required to be signed acknowledging the above limitations. If you are not able to meet these limitations, then this may not be the vacation rental property you are looking for. The Adventure Lodge is newly listed on VRBO as of 1/5/19.
