3-BR, 3-bath post and beam oceanfront cottage within a mile of the historic Bass Harbor Lighthouse and Acadia's Ship Harbor and Wonderland hiking trails. Sits on secluded 4.5 acre oceanfront lot with 300 feet of shore frontage. Sunny, open first-floor plan with living/dining area and fully equipped kitchen, all with panoramic ocean views, and a full bath. The second floor has: a master suite with walk-in shower; two additional bedrooms, two twin beds each; and a full bath. A large deck off the back of the cottage provides a sunny space to watch the boating activity and wildlife and striking sunsets.
NOTE - GUEST COTTAGE WILL NOT BE RENTED DURING SUMMER 2023 SO RENTERS WILL HAVE ENTIRE PROPERTY TO THEMSELVES

Summary: Our family of four had a terrific week staying at this property. The house itself is warm and comfortable. It is not modern, but it is very functional, clean and efficient. The views are spectacular . The house is very private although worth noting that there is a guest house with other tenants. It is easy to access Acadia and all the wonderful MDI villages. We look forward to returning!
