Summary: There was a Christmas tree and decorations which made the house feel quite festive. The house was very comfortable and warm with plenty of space for the family of 5 adults and a dog. The facilities were a bit mixed - The living room tv was not working but this was sorted quite quickly. The kitchen is great to cook in but could do with another fridge or wine cooler as only a standard under worktop one provided. Not quite enough for lots of food and drinks. The downstairs bathroom shower was electric and did not work for 3 days . The host did try come over to look at it but we were not in as busy out and about visiting family and friends. I think that better communication would have meant we could have ensured that someone was at home to allow it to be repaired . We managed work with the upstairs shower for the rest of the holiday. Although there were a few issues we would definitely stay there again.
