Positive: We loved our stay in the Story Studio. Very clean and as photographed. Communication with Marcia was good. We had a difficult time finding a nearby garage to the apartment. I would caution anyone who is arriving in Coimbra with a car to park overnight in the Bragaparques underground parking garage under the government office called Loja da Cidadao. This parking garage accepts only cash payment. You can walk from there to the Story Studio, but there will be one steep area. Story Studio is on a narrow street I would not drive on. Looking down on the street from the Studio you can overlook restaurants with outdoor seating and see pedestrians walking to and fro. In fact, if you are a light sleeper earplugs may come in handy. We enjoyed the balcony with seating which overlooks nearby rooftops. The Studio is excellently located for walking either up to the University or walking to Old Town. As represented, the apartment is up 3 flights of stairs. The Welcome basket with some breakfast treats was appreciated. Recommended.
Negative: DIfficulty parking the car.
