The perfect spot for a summer vacation or weekend getaway. Walking distance to the local theatre, library, park, walking trails, kayaking, luncheonettes, Stony Creek Pizza, boating, Long Island Sound, public beach, Thimble Island tours on the Sea Mist, and lots more.
A quick drive to New Haven, Yale University and everything the city has to offer. New Haven is a pizza lovers dream. We have our favorites but it is difficult to go wrong here if pizza is you thing. Downtown New Haven is full of night life, restaurants and excellent museums.

Summary: Stony Creek is so charming. Little harbor, little islands, big fun. House is on quiet street but walking distance to everything. Great little market / pizza shop, a few art galleries, a play house, and the water. House is beautiful with lots of art and design. Looking forward to returning - next time with another couple or two.
