Entire stone house renovated in the heart of the Périgord Noir, 5 minutes by car from Domme, medieval town, 10 minutes from Roque Gageac, and 20 minutes from Sarlat. 5 minutes from the Dordogne and its beaches, close to all amenities, including an organic producer market. Your host will tell you about all kinds of walks (horse riding, canoes, bicycle rental, etc.), and good gastronomic tips for the region (organic producers, cheeses, wines, etc.). The house is cool even in the height of summer, it has a children's bedroom with two twin beds, a large master bedroom under the roof and a small bedroom in a stone barn, with a pleasant little garden.
Hammock, barbecue, washing machine, equipped kitchen (oven, induction hob, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine), Wi-Fi, sheets and towels at your disposal, possibility of renting a Canoe with return transport. in winter possibility of having wood for the fireplace (on request)

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. Great hiking, terrific canoeing, and wonderful exploring nearby. Cenac has the advantage of being in the heart of the Dordogne--without the tour buses! The owners' parents helped us with restaurants and canoe outfitters (Jean was away). Delightful people. One caveat, the bathroom is not on the same floor as the bedroom, which might be an issue for some.
