Special Note: Most vacation rentals are contracted out for cleaning services to a Commercial agency. This means that cleaners have multiple units to clean EVERY check in day... Not Ours! ... We take pride in a personal, DETAILED/ DISINFECTING cleaning between every guest rental to ensure optimal cleanliness on every level. The difference is obvious and will give you the peace of mind you deserve as you enjoy an AWESOME Beach Vacation!
JUST ADDED: Plenty of room if you need it to park your boat/ trailer on the property in addition to the already spacious parking for your cars! Back your boat-right in right off the road for easy access in and out! This is RARE for beach properties and waiting for you if you need it at Family Huddle...
"Family Huddle" is a gorgeous Beach House featuring 4 Bedrooms and 2.5 Baths just for you! There is an awesome Hot Tub and an in-ground, salt-water pool available exclusively for our Guests to use. Across the street is a Public Beach Access to some of the most beautiful beaches anywhere!
The house is located in Historic Fort Fisher which is part of Kure Beach. You'll find an expansive deck out back and a big porch in the front for outdoor dining, lounging and fun. Fort Fisher is on the South end of Pleasure Island and just to the north of you on the Island is Kure Beach and Carolina Beach.
Pleasure Island has lots of fun things to do: The NC Aquarium; Fort Fisher Civil War museum; Fort Fisher-Southport Ferry; State Parks; 2 Boardwalks; 2 fishing piers; Britt's Donuts (an institution since 1939); LOT's of restaurants serving all of your favorite seafood; Live Bands; Carnival Rides; Fireworks every Thursday night at 9pm in the Summer; Deep Sea Fishing Boats; 4-Wheel Drive Beach Access on both the North and South end of the Island; JUST A SHORT WALK from your House are walking paths along the old Fort beside the incredible beauty of the Cape Fear River. Parking is a breeze with plenty of space for up to six cars in the driveway and front yard.
(A couple lives on the ground floor in a separate living quarters with a separate entrance to maintain the grounds, pool and to clean between rental weeks. In the unlikely event a need should arise in the house, all you have to do is let them know and they will take care of it! No worries about privacy or noise - kinda like a townhouse underneath your vacation home...just another amenity to make your stay as awesome as possible!)
