Outdoor space with perfect views, beach access, grassed yard, gas fire pit, & comfortable seating overlooking the ocean while enjoying your morning coffee or a glass of wine while watching the sunset. Make this your HOME away from HOME while visiting the Oregon Coast.
This separate and detached guest house is a large Studio Suite with a living area and comfortable bed with large windows and spectacular views of the ocean. Live large in this spacious suite with room for lounging, reading or catching up on your favorite Netflix series while watching the waves crash.
Living area has comfortable sofa that converts to a sleeper, for an additional sleeping area. Flat screen Smart TV set up for Roku internet streaming, cable and WIFI. Relax and enjoy an evening catching up on your favorite episode or reading a book while listening to the waves crash outside!
Eating in is simple in the efficient Kitchenette, complete with utensils, basic cookware, and dishes. There is a microwave, toaster oven, crockpot, toaster, blender and of course, a coffee maker! Kitchenette open to living area and has plenty of windows and light to enjoy the views.
The Studio Suite has a Comfortable Queen bed with high quality linens and pillows. Large windows bring in sunshine and blinds can be drawn for privacy. There is small closet space, for guests personal items.
The bathroom has a large vanity and a shower. Essentials including a quality linens, paper products, shampoo/conditioner and a hairdryer are included for guest convenience.
FREE reserved parking in private driveway for up to 2 vehicles. The garage is NOT included but there is parking for up to two vehicles directly across from garage. The space directly in front of the garage is RESERVED for the main house guests and is NOT available for guest use.
The large private yard has soft grass for playing outdoor games and gorgeous views from the Pointe. There is comfortable seating, a small bistro table and a gas fire pit for a fun evening around the fire.
There is also a SHARED BBQ Grill that is shared with the separate, detached MAIN house. Both homes have completely separate & private yard space with the exception of the grill which is central to both properties.
BEACH Access: There is a stairway to the right of the property with direct access to the beach (this has been under construction and guest should use at their own risk) There is also a second access further down the lane.
We do NOT allow pets of any kind at this property.
Pack and Play is available onsite. Please let us know if you would like us to set up the Pack and Play for you.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire private guest suite and the private yard directly in front of the space. Reserved parking in driveway for (2) vehicles, to the left of the garage, to the side of the garbage bins and there are (2) spaces reserved for the MAIN house directly in front of the Garage. BBQ grill is SHARED and is centrally located for easy access to both spaces. There is a separate detached MAIN house on the property. The Garage is NOT included.

The Neighborhood:
The Guest House is located on Cape Arago Highway in Coos Bay, Oregon. The home is approx .5 miles to Sunset Bay, .3 miles to Cape Arago Lighthouse and .3 miles to Yoakum Pointe State Park. Shore Acres is MUST see is 2.7 miles past the property on Cape Arago Highway. Less than 2 miles to Charleston shopping, dining & entertainment and less than 15 min to Coos Bay. The house is close to hiking, fishing and dining. Close to Bandon Dunes, Coos Bay & North Bend.
Charleston is an unincorporated town of Coos County and is located less than 2 miles from the property. (the property address is Coos Bay, however Charleston is the closest town) Home to one of the largest commercial fishing fleets in the state of Oregon. This small, unique fishing community is known for its charming marina, endless fishing, friendly merchants, lush state parks, beautiful beaches and a distinctly charismatic local community. Take a walk on the docks, paddle the South Slough, buy fresh seafood from the boats or catch some yourself. This distinctive fishing village is located near some of the finest recreation and most beautiful scenery in the Northwest, and all the friendly residents and merchants of Charleston will do everything possible to make your visit memorable and fun! Whether you're looking for fun and adventure, or just a friendly place to relax, we've got it all!

Getting Around:
A Car is highly recommended. Everything is convenient to the home including grocery stores and restaurants. If you are from out of state, we suggest flying into Eugene and making your way down the coast.
Other Things to Note:
We are happy to share our vacation home with others and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do! We also appreciate when guests treat it like they would their own! There is a complete list of instructions at the home including WI-Fi passwords and check out details.
~ we ask that you don’t cook crab in the home but there is a BBQ to cook outside.
~ You must be over the age of 25 to rent any of our properties.
~You may be required to provide a photo of your Drivers License or Government ID directly to the host. This is for the safety and security of both guests & property Owners, and will be requested at the discretion of Stay in My DIstrict.
~ No additional guests and visitors/guests that are not registered on the reservation booking are allowed to be on the property after 10pm.
~ Smoking anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit plus can result in additional fees up to $500 for smoke removal.
~ Housekeeping is required and provided every 15 days for an additional charge on all stays over 15 nights.
~Pack and Play may be requested ahead of time but it is not kept on site so please be sure to let us know in advance
