3 Bedroom Cabin in Brainerd

This 3 bedroom/2 full bath lake front home on peaceful Gladstone Lake near Nisswa and Brainerd (Crow Wing County), Minnesota is a perfect retreat for fishing, boating, and lake fun. This 450 acre lake with public boat access has protected land, is prized for fishing and is perfect for recreational sports. The cottage is a seasonal property available from May 15 to October 1. Our home, Stardust Cabin, accommodates 6 people. This property has been in our family for nearly 70 years ... our grandparents were one of Gladstone Lake’s first residents. Our home was built in 1984 and we’ve recently made significant improvements which include all new stainless steel appliances, new cedar dock, outdoor stainless steel fish cleaning table, new bath flooring, new vanities/toilets, new hvac, new light fixtures, new beds, mattresses, linens and beach towels. The cabin has a main house with kitchen, great room, full bath, and 2 bedrooms (1 bedroom with king bed, 1 bedroom with queen bed and twin bed). There are separate guest quarters adjacent to main house with a laundry room, 1 bedroom (queen bed) and full bath. This separate living space is but 10 steps away from the main house and is built off the garage - perfect for kids or those needing more private guest quarters. We have over 100 feet of lakefront with a 120’ cedar dock on a 1-acre wooded lot on pristine Gladstone lake. The public boat access is less than 1/4 mile away ( no boat provided with rental). Gladstone Lake is in the heart of the Brainerd Lakes area. It is quiet, peaceful and a beautiful retreat for boating, reading, swimming, fishing and just relaxing. There is a stainless steel fish cleaning table/sink, charcoal BBQ grill, and fire pit (charcoal and fire wood not provided). Cabin supplies include bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, 6 trash bags, starter pack of Tide pods and Cascade pods, Dawn dishwashing liquid, coffee filters, Dove bar soap and hand soap. Our family has been coming to this property since the 1950's. The current cottage was built in 1984. The cottage was originally a wooden refrigerator boxcar hauled in the 1950’s to Gladstone lake from the Northern Pacific railroad terminal in Brainerd. This is our second VRBO property and we are a VRBO “Premier Host”. Since 2012 we have successfully operated a VRBO home we own on St. Geroge Island in Florida called Stardust Villa.
