Welcome to your newly renovated first floor suite in a West Hamilton century home! A great space to relax featuring easy access to McMaster University, Hamilton hospitals and downtown. Fully equipped kitchen. One parking spot behind house. Two bedrooms each with a queen bed. Access to small private deck. Please note, there is NO CABLE TV. However, there is free WiFi and a Flat Screen TV with HDMI connector and Google Chrome Cast. Washer and dryer One free parking spot Kitchen seating for 4 Air conditioning in main living area. Awesome ceiling fans in bedrooms. The kitchen table seats 4. Microwave, range, coffee maker , coffee, tea, toaster and some supplies for cooking (olive oil, salt, pepper, pots, pans, bowls, measuring cup, grater, utensils, etc). In our friendly neighbourhood you can WALK to McMaster University (35 min), downtown (20 min), grocery store (5 min) and nearby cafes on Locke St.(15 min). Live theatre next door. How wonderful is that? My husband and I run The Staircase Theatre which has a popular open mic every Wed night at 7pm and improv shows Sunday nights at 7pm. The licensed cafe is open during events in the theatre. Come by and enjoy a yummy snack or local beer. For info about more events check out the Staircase Theatre webpage. You will also be a block from BUS routes to downtown Hamilton (10 min), McMaster University (20 min), hospitals and Toronto (1 hour). For DRIVING you will have easy access to the 403 and be halfway between Niagara Falls and Toronto (1 hour). Your host, Kathy, is local and available anytime by phone, text or email. I can help you with any travel details, local information, or any needs you have during your stay. For cyclists, the Social Bicycles (SoBi) can be rented right across the street using a credit card. Also, arrangements may be made to store 2 bikes in the apartment.
