Summary: Beautifully appointed hotel, both outside and in. Worthy of its 4 star rating. Check in was personal and friendly. Porterage was offered but we didn't use it. There is a lift to all floors and although there are 5 steps down to the breakfast room, a stair lift is available for those with limited mobility. Our bedroom was equipped with a king size bed a large flat screen TV, telephone and air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath. Tea and coffee making facilities bottled complimentary water and biscuits. There is also a formal restaurant and informal dining in the bar area. Two very different menus but both serving excellent cuisine. All the staff were friendly and communicative, which we found quite refreshing. All in all we found the St George's Hotel to be very good value for money, well placed for the town centre, Mostyn Street being just a couple of minutes walk away. The only down side, limited on site parking. We will return.
