Summary: We recently had the pleasure of staying at Poplar Lodge, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the immaculate condition of the home and the thoughtful touches that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was ideal, providing stunning views and easy access to Bryson City and Fontana Lake. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery each morning and ending our days with a relaxing evening on the porch. The cabin was spacious, well-decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen had all the essentials, making it easy to prepare meals, and the cozy living area was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. What really stood out to us was the host’s attention to detail. From the soft linens to the well-stocked amenities, it was clear that they put a lot of care into ensuring we had an exceptional experience. Communication was seamless, and the check-in/check-out process was a breeze. We personally had the opportunity to meet Thurman and Freddie (the owners) and they are the sweetest people on the planet. Ginger was phenomenal and was always responsive before, during and after our stay. I highly recommend Poplar Lodge and Whispering Pines Deluxe Cabins to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.
